Continuing the spaghetti western theme for the NaiSaiKu Challenge, this Tuesday’s Folding Mirror poem relates to a comedy film parodying the genre called My Name is Nobody. There’s a link to more info about the film after the poem.
My Name is Nobody
I’ve come from nowhere
I’m going no place
Just passing through
My name is nobody
Just passing through
I’m going no place
I’ve come from nowhere
My Name is Nobody information
Nicely set and thought out! Funnily enough, I’ve just finished reading the William Morris story, News from Nowhere.
Really tells you all you need to know about the character.
Nowhere is almost a scary idea – being nobody is worse. This reminded me of one of my favourite poems of all time – “Poem About Nothing” by Lorna Crozier.
Well done.
Thanks for reading and all your comments and compliments.
