Arthurian Alphabet Poem by Claire Knight

After Marc Latham’s recent quite anarchic alphabet Folding Mirror poem Claire Knight has adapted an earlier one she created into a Folding Mirror poem, and it cleverly has a proper Arthurian story running through it.

A Knight of Passion

After becoming Camelot’s dashing equerry,
flighty Guinevere’s hearty intrepid
jousting knight, Lancelot
made
nightly,
often passionate, quests –
romantic secret trysts under
velvet – with x-rated yearning zeal
