gYgPOP World is Everywhere, Sun Shining Above Despair

Karl Lagerfeld worked at Fendi for as long as I did for Planet Earth.

Our paths crossed in the greenYgrey world.

a person in a green dress standing in front of a building: Yes, fashion month is still happening. The 27 day test of fashion endurance has made it’s way to Milan, Italy. While Milan boasts our favourite shows in terms of craftsmanship, the hidden gem of Milan is the street style. It's the prime example of what can happen when quality and charm work in synergy. This season New York’s street style was colourful and clever, while London’s was classic (and dare we say, quieter than previous seasons?). Here in Milan, the street style is streamlined with sharp tailoring while still maintaining it’s whimsical details. The leather trenches come in Skittles bright colours and the intarsia sweaters come printed in something that your grandma and Miuccia Prada would approve of.While some pieces are universal amongst the fashion crowd, the street style of Milan has inspired us to reconsider them in an oversaturated market. Not into plaid blazers? What about a blazer wrap dress hybrid in the cutest banana yellow. All khaki-d out? You'll want to rethink that come slide 8. Even after two weeks of doing the whole street-style-outfit-peacocking (on top of attending the shows) editors, influencers, show goers are still going strong in providing us with outfit inspiration that will extend far into 2019.See you at the fashion finish line in Paris. We’ll be there with a gold medal and granola bar in hand. For now, click through for the best street style from Milan Fashion Week.

We shared love, but not with each other.

Mine was with a mixed-up vole anagram.

All the images above are from this MSN article this morning.

Musical Coincidence?

While there’s lots of pagan rock on YouTube that relates to my writing, I thought this image from a suggested album captured the greenYgrey world evolution perfectly. The greenYgrey land linking to a PinkyOrangePurple sky through a human – perfect gYgPOP.

Moreover, it was released in 2015, the year I first espoused the new POP art. I did that in January, so think I was first!? Was the album cover influenced by the gYgPOP world, or was it a universal mind ‘coincidence’? Probably the latter, both with the same influences.

I don’t remember the psychedelic 60s, but they say you absorb a lot in the first few years of your life, so it probably did have some influence.

When we got a television in the early 1970s it was certainly there then, from the American Banana Splits to British Goodies.

Indigo, or I dingo? Anagram Leads to Mirror Poem

There’s been a lot of news relevant to this world recently. After putting Meghan Markle in her place on this site’s sister site, travel25years.wordpress.com, recently I read she’s in New York now, staying with lots of friends in the swankiest hotel, and eating at the best restaurants – after complaining about UK universities being pale, male and stale; very ageist and racist! We are the natives of this country and continent, as Africans are in Africa – not Europe, Caribbean or Americas! Maybe Meghan should campaign for native people and cultures instead of invasive ones!!

Karl Lagerfeld Died Aged 85

I don’t think Karl Lagerfeld was definitely a better person than Meghan Markle overall, but I think he was more honest and les hypocritical. He used image and soundbites openly and honestly, and I think that made him fair game for parody; as all celebrities are.

For one last bit of parody, my epitaph for him is that while he was a legend in fashion, and created a uniquely memorable persona, he will surely be best remembered for providing a quarter of one of the greenYgrey world’s most memorable names: fashionista suprema, Stella Lagerwolf-Bruno.

Funnily enough, in a weird rather than comical way, I’d been writing about fashion on travel25years and mentioned Stella Lager… just before seeing the news about Karl Lagerfeld’s passing.

Indigo Dreams

Today, I saw a story on Russian wonder kid, Boriska Kipriyanovich, who is said to have known about space without being taught anything. Was he born in space as he thinks, or was the knowledge passed down to him in his DNA? Somebody called him an indigo.

It’s a term I remembered from long ago, so I looked it up again, and wrote this new Folding Mirror poem from the 7 Traits of Indigo Adults article. I think I’ve had all seven traits, but some are waning now, due to the state of humanity and the world. I don’t know if they are something most people identify with, as mediums in seances are said to ask general questions familiar to most people, according to sceptics like Derren Brown.

Here’s an image of an indigo person doing a spectacular Y-POP (PinkyOrangePurple):

It’s Hard To Be Indigo, When Losing All You Know

Am I an indigo
or just its anagram
I dingo
I could be both
as indigos empathise
with animals

middle of seven traits, first is asking why

life purpose
the ending sign
making me wonder if
I reached
the end of ambition
mind eye my mission

London Fashion Show Satirical Comedy Highlights

London fashion week has been such a whirl Naomi Mdudu beat me to the breaking story in yesterday’s Metro. Yes, it’s all over now, and it was such a wonderful whirlwind my mind feels like my House of Holland clogs hardly clattered the catwalk crowd kerfuffle, but my legs tell me something else.

Good morning fashionistas, it’s Stella Lagerwolf-Bruno, comedy-satire fashionista suprema @ Greenygrey central, inspired by Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Bruno and Stella beer; and Ab Fab, which featured lots of women being very funny in my kind of world.

Talking of brands, as I will be soon, I think Jo Brand is funny too.

London Fashion Week Highlights

Looking back through my notes, I’ve picked out five fantastic five-days February festival (using five words beginning with F… well, six or seven now!) greenygrey highlights. Ciao fashionistas…

Great and Powerful Women Wear Greenygrey

Hi, it’s Paco Wolfsang, with a greenygrey comedy-satire fashion round-up. Stella Lagerwolf-Bruno is out covering some big bash somewhere.

Michelle Obama Fashion Icon

We were all recently delighted to see the United States‘s first lady Michelle Obama enjoying wearing a greenygrey outfit:

Oz’s Great Powerful Prime-Minister

The current Prime-Minister of the human Oz, Australia, Julia Gillard, is also in touch with her greenygrey side(s), and shows the numerous ways to utilise clothes and accessories to create that magnificent media-friendly greenygrey magic:

London Fashion Week Greenygrey Highlights

Hi, it’s Stella LagerwolfBruno, fashion correspondent at the Greenygrey. The Greenygrey took the Greenygrey fashion team down to the London Fashion Show last week, and it was great to rub shoulders with today’s leading fashionistas, such as Ga Ga, GG and RiRi. Moreover, the Felder-Felder twins put on a fantastic FF impersonation of GG.

Reading too much into this photo, and trying to twist everything to fit into a greenygrey theme, we believe they used black and white to keep the true greenygrey message under the surface, where only greenygrey connoisseurs will be able to deconstruct the intended depths… of satire we were born.

Anya Hindmarch 2013 Collection

While I checked out the clothes, I sent Paco Wolfsang over to have a look at the accessories. He brought back a video and photos of a great Anya Hindmarch greenygrey display and collection.

The video is available on the London Fashion Show website, and here’s a couple of highlights from the handbags-dominoes display (we hope no Greenygreys were hurt in the making of the handbags, and especially the Stella ethical consumer in me!):

Meat Industry Horse Culture to Haute Couture Fashion

Hi, it’s Stella Lagerwolf-Bruno, fashion correspondent at the Greenygrey. As you no doubt know, I have to design horse-culture to to keep ahead of Posh Vic and Paco; as well as meeting the demands of British meat-eaters.

New Haute Couture Dresses

For example, here are a few of my new designs; including a few greenygreys I’m sure you’ll be pleased to know (well, green and grey at least):

Greenygrey in the Community

However, I also like to see my clothes worn by ordinary folk too; and especially when they are doing good deeds in the community. A fine example of that is the first-aiders helping keep those priceless Premiership pins in tip-top condition when the magic sponge just won’t do the trick:

Not to mention keeping the streets clean. This is a rare quadruple greenygrey by the way: clothes, lorry, road/hedge and house/door. Photos don’t come much better than this in the Greenygrey world:
