Kate Moss Opens Mist Evaporation Week Final Countdown (not really!)

Parody comedy disclaimer: Kate Moss took no part in this blog post, and hasn’t heard of me as far as I know.
Harry Enfield did a good parody comedy celebrity show recently, set on Richard Branson’s island (I use his Virgin Media creation, and have really requested a space flight or visit to his island as a bonus in the comments of his Linked In posts; where reality and parody meet; but to no avail so far!), and including J.K. Rowling, who of course became G.G. Howling in the greenYgrey world.
I thought Enfield’s parody was more South Park to mine being Simpsons. Vic and Bob’s new series parody is also quite close to the bone. I like it, and just mention it here for those critics of mine who don’t understand parody/satire.

Nice Friendly Educative Pagan Festival (not taking itself too seriously! As Kate Moss doesn’t from the Ab Fab film!!)

With only four days to go until mistYmuse Y-Day on January 21st, marking a month since the Winter Solstice, and half way stage of the mistYmuse, covering November 21st to March 21st, Mist (Most Ideal Sunrise Times) Evaporation Week (MEW) is really hotting up, with the ceremonial departure of the M, as we prepare to move into the muse half of the most winterish four months of the northern hemisphere year, until the spring equinox.

Kate Moss Parody Comedy

Kate Moss was named the Queen of the greenYgrey world, and a couple of days ago I saw a news story on MSN that it was her 45th birthday yesterday; I didn’t know/remember before, trying not to take too much notice of my celebrity heroes/heroines.

Using the height of my music-making talents, I adapted Kiss’s King of the Night Time World, swapping King for Queen, and Night Time for greenYgrey. You’ll have to do the imagining yourself!

When I first saw the photo below in the article, of Kate greenYgreying in the Ab Fab film, which I saw for the first time recently, I thought her arms and head create a W, which I thought was ironic in mistYmuse Y week, although the W was a big letter in the werewolf greenYgrey world!

Then, using a little thinking outside the box, Sherlock-style, which Kate is famous for herself, I realised that a W is an upside-down M, and that’s the letter that’s disappearing today from MIST, one day after Kate’s birthday! So thanks to Kate for kicking off the MEW party in the style she has epitomised during the supermodel era and beyond…

It also reminds me of Folding Mirror poetry!!

Can Single Heterosexual Men Be Feminist?

‘During my life I have encountered many reasons why women deserve
to be controlled by status, but many more for men.’

Marc Latham, 2009.

Sorry about the existential minimalist blog post for International Women’s Day yesterday, but we thought we’d leave it to the humans yesterday; and sometimes a small amount of words can have more impact… and are easier to write!

Transgender Anger?

They are also be safer of course, because as soon as you start expressing opinions you open yourself up to controversy and criticism.

Hi, it’s Mary Werewolfstonecraft, liberal feminist inspired by Mary Wollstonecraft, who is often cited as being the first liberal feminist.

After writing yesterday’s phrase Women are half of humanity I thought that I might have angered transgender people, who might have thought themselves left out.

I then presumed that trangender people probably balance out between male and female, so I thought it was probably okay after all.

Latham Socialism v Galloway Socialism

George Galloway

The strapline for this blog was Free and Equal Green Writing last yearThis was influenced by Marc Latham’s socialist background.

While Gorgeous George Galloway and supporters might consider Marc Latham a bad socialist, Marc considers himself more socialist than them, stressing the rights of all people, and freedom from religious indoctrination.

It didn’t mean that everybody should leave relationships, and lead an existential anarchist life, it just meant that people should have the freedom to choose the way they lead their lives.

While Marc thought that anarchic freedom was the way to be in youth, in adulthood and middle-age he thinks that if you’ve got a good family you should make the most of it.

If you don’t think you have a good family then you might need more external inspirations, and I hope you find ones that help you lead a better life.

The Free and Equal phrase was inspired by the rise in forced relationships and slavery in the U.K., and around Europe and the world as far as I know.

Latham Brand v Russell Brand

Locked inside a context box as JOKE. Context box (CB) start:
Marc Latham would like to come out of the closet: a beautiful woman’s lingerie closet.
CB End.

Marc Latham has had a similar Kerouac-inspired background to the British comedian Russell Brand.

They both seem to love beautiful women, but have taken different paths in recent years.

While Russell Brand has been seeking to cash in on his feminist speech, Marc has tried to show that he’s serious about his feminism by trying not to profit sexually.

Of course, after a while that can seem more ‘weird’.

Socialist Feminism and Male Heterosexual Taste

While Marc believes that all women should have equality, he also has his own taste in women, which is the classic model-actress-musical icon long-haired slim feminine pretty woman such as Kate Moss, Tia Carrere, Debbie Harry, Kitty Zhang (Zhang Yuqi), Briggitte Bardot, Jessica Alba, Beyonce and Britt Ekland… preferably into animal welfare, non-smoker, good sense of humour and a nice feminine personality (I sense British militant feminist rage!?).

While British feminism often seems to resent those kind of women, Ukraine’s Femen movement and some other feminist movements celebrate the beauty of women.

The Greenygrey doesn’t necessarily support all their beliefs and tactics, but generally supports their cause.

That is where Marc Latham’s socialism and heterosexuality have their best fit, although some feminists will probably not accept his rationale: some feminists just seem to want to keep feminism as an all women’s club… versus men… rather than trying to be equal, and creating a better society alongside men, like I think my human inspiration Mary Wollstonecraft did.

Olympics 2012 Closing Ceremony and Legacy

Howldy do, it’s Martin ‘Werewolfie’ Adams, with the last report from Olympics 2012. We’ve got the fantastic closing ceremony of what might be remembered as the Greenygrey Games, and the Greenygrey legacy in this spectacular closing blog.

Olympics 2012 Closing Day and Ceremony

Fittingly, there were gold medals for Teams GB and GG on the last day of the Olympics, with Anthony Joshua winning boxing gold for Team GB in the super-heavyweight division, and Lithuania’s Laura Asadauskaite winning Modern Pentathlon gold for Team GG.

The closing ceremony was another great spectacular, although not as greenygrey as the opening ceremony. But it didn’t really matter by then, as everybody was in the mood to party, and the greenygrey was in there amongst a multitude of colours, as shown on the BBC sport site:

An octopus containing legendary DJ Fatboy Slim seemed to represent animals, and looked greenygrey at times, as shown on the BBC sport site:

Greenygrey Legacy

John Lennon’s Imagine song starred in the closing ceremony, and after women had starred in all the Olympics 2012 sporting events, models from the tough world of fashion led by Kate Moss were represented amongst some great British comedy and music moments; together symbolising Cool Britannia; as shown by this photo from Zimbio:

Thanks to the athletes of Team GB for doing so well, and Teams Lithuania, Jamaica and Ireland for wearing the greenygrey with pride, and doing Team GG proud. Also to the organisers, workers and participants at Olympics 2012, and the BBC for great coverage. And most of all, thanks to all of you for reading our reports from Olympics 2012.

Hopefully the UK and world will continue with the Olympic 2012 spirit of sport, achievement, equality and fun into the future; and the Greenygrey will be sponsoring our favourite athlete, Marc Latham, to run his fourth marathon in 2013…
