Life Out of Line with Time
Turning T-I-M-E into L-I-F-E can devowel/devour;
distorting synchronicity, imploding TM without exit plan E;
disturbing journey!

Sow mind once again threads letters into words; stringing together this g-ar-men-t; some will see men art, others gr (angry) meant

Living bodies like ‘God’ glass jars! With different shapes/products; but all containers for… mind and spirit? Recycled when empty?

Life’s a bad idea, could cost you dear,
better let pass by, like sleeping dogs lie, or birds fly;
sky high solo unconscious halo

Cloudy daylight, without star in sight;
for some spring chickens, first flight;
Earth distributes dew, oiling engine of flew crew

superbowl special: 5 poetry shorts

Human shell,
hell to endure,
hard to pure,
how to be sure,
when metamorphosis over?

pure as the driven snow,
deep down dancing crow,
pineal gland contains nature to know

Could be making celebrities/politicians look good,
but rather make us look bad,
for we are all human,
and that makes me sad!

Never promised a rose garden;
to be a great guardian;
a musketeer D’artagnan:
one for all and all for one;
just for greenYgreylien!

The world is not enough, for 10 billion of us, fighting for survival, by digging deeper holes, core, shore up… superbowl!

Above first posted on Facebook, along with lots of current affairs and a little music and science.

muse delivers poem

The songs in my head
sang books that I read
merging in words shared
writing thoughts I dared
dig out of my mind bared
from a time when I cared
how the whole world fared
free running feelings snared
ability to function impaired
whole pages of my life teared
leaving nothing to be, or not to be, spared
that is the question; and answer, that’s all there is to be said!”

*To be or not to be, that is the question: Shakespeare.”
*Song I worked out inspired it, after starting to think the first lines was The Pretty Reckless: Going to Hell.

The night before I’d watched a documentary about 1000s of indigenous native women and children going missing and being killed in Canada. Many had been abused in monotheistic homes, like the British Homes children. Now we’ve got it happening to indigenous British Homes children by the new wave of monotheists!
Others had been sold by their families, or pimped by men in the community.
They seemed to presume the deadly culprits were white, but Canada is very multicultural now.
There seems no end to humanity’s inhumanity!

mistYmuse Further Clarification

Concerning the endurance race analogy, the sun has already returned to the start point of the course, a month either side of midwinter, and now it continues on into and beyond the city.

While Y-day was the half way point in the mistYmuse, if it was to be the halfway point of the sun’s journey, mistYmuse would have to run from October 21st to February 21st, with 2 months either side of Midwinter.

However, the clocks going back at the end of October would mess around with the time, and it wouldn’t run until the spring equinox, which gives the muse its acronym: midwinter until spring equinox.

GOLF LIFE ANALOGY METAPHOR PHILOSOPHY

New Golf Life metaphor. I just searched golf life metaphor and there’s lots already, but nothing like this quantitative comparison with the average life, which is about 90 in Monaco: the equivalent of 5 rounds of 18 hole golf. The first 9 holes of life are spent on the crazy golf course; and then 10-18 is a half-round on the proper golf course. The 2nd round, 19-36 is young adulthood.The 3rd round, 37-54 is mature adulthood/young middle-age.The 4th round, 55-72 is middle-age/young old age.The 5th round, 73-90 is old age.

When I was thinking of the golf life metaphor, following my recent athletics track one, I had terminally ill young people at the forefront of my thought: to make them feel better by explaining that they see the best of life, the crazy golf of childhood, and maybe get a taste of the main course: which is the same course throughout life; just that you go around up to 5 times for the 5 rounds of golf metaphor; although there are different ups and downs each round, and maybe a different ‘landscape’; provided by changes in weather in the golf course rounds metaphor.

Golf Course Life Metaphor 3: end of trilogy! Yes, after the fun and excitement of the crazy golf course of childhood, it’s quite an exciting novelty to move onto the main course of life, but also a big step up and quite scary for many. Then your first full round on the course from 19-36 is momentous as you are doing the full course for the first time. Then the next one, 37-54 is trying to keep the pace up, and seeing something different to the previous times. Then the next one, 55-72, which I’m just starting, is again looking for something different, but also seeing it more as an endurance event, as fatigue and boredom start to take hold!

The above followed on from my recent athletics track life analogy metaphor a few posts ago. There’s a lot more groundbreaking philosophy in my 15 years a PhD graduate books; kept to the ‘hippy ethos’ of free information by blogging it first and setting my self-published at the lowest prices possible on Smashwords and Amazon.

MIND LIFE POETIC PHILOSOPHY

Death of my mind’s a fiction I’ll never see; each morning I awaken in a new reality!

milifend: new word encapsulating all life in mind?: mi-life-nd!

milifend: the life you fill your mind with will be the mind you fill your life with.

Nightly flying free, N returns with me: morning media-induced NTSD: Neverending Traumatic Stress Disorder!! (instead of PostTSD)

The above were fitted for colurful backgrounds on Facebook.

If you liked them there’s lots more similar in my latest books; more epic classic but hopefully not as good, as that’ll mean I’m still improving, and progressing towards some even greater insights/truths!?

Maybe one day that’s how medicine will work..?

Regurgitating green shoots;

If you like the breadth of contrast in my writer personas, hopefully evidence of a consummate (not that I could spell that first time: showing the honest writer introspection that [should have endeared me to the human world!] courses through XaW Files: Beyond Humanity and 242 Mirror Poems and Reflections) professional (or write that first draft!):

One Morning’s Century of Thought

I have a confession. I have been brewing coffilosophy in other kitchens of thought, in this great mansion of social media, within the community of www. Then this morning a story about a space mission that will take forty years compounded my thoughts on time being the best teacher. If that mission is a success, then the people who are around then, and know its results, will know much more about our existence than the deepest searching thinkers of today and the past.

Doors of Perception: Time is the Top Teacher (T3)

People like Aldous Huxley, who inspired The Doors band name. I’m just playing their 1968 L.A. concert on YouTube. When The Doors and other 1960s counter-culture bands were doing most of their searching, humanity hadn’t landed on the moon yet, with that taking place in 1969; if you believe NASA and the astronauts.

So when you think of all the knowledge we’ve acquired about space, and our existence within it, in the last fifty years; such as icy moons around Jupiter and Saturn that provide a good chance of life, if we can get probes there, with missions planned in the next decade; then we’ve gone some way to answering some of the questions Jim Morrison was wondering about, and searching for through mental searching, sometimes involving stimulants.

Neuroscience has answered many others, with brain scanning particularly helpful.

Of course mental searching can provide insight into yourself, and clues as to the rest of humanity, if you believe we are all alike in some ways.

I could’ve written a Folding Mirror poem about it, but think/know I’ve written some similar ones before, both our time in the present between past and future, and the advances in astronomy and neuroscience mirroring each other.

In line with the trend of abbreviating and imaging everything, I did think seeing around a century of thought could be reduced to the image:  See the source imagevia the acronym: ICT.

New Mirror Poem from Writer Genius Wordsmith

I started having these ideas last night, so they would have been philosotea if I’d drank tea at tea-time, but I didn’t drink it yesterday, and just had a couple of coffees, as the second one was a bit late. I was listening to a new album by the Spacelords, and think it helped my mind rise, as Goldray did last year with their POPtastic (PinkyOrangePurple) Rising record.

Goldray - Rising (2017)

A new band to me, The Spacelords also had a great greenYgrey world cover for their Liquid Sun album.

Too Late for Managenius

With lots of talk about football manager genius this week, and having created my wrIus writer/ing-genius word for myself (and others who follow, or that have already been) – such new words combining parts of two others are called blends according to the Oxford Dictionary – I thought last night I hadn’t heard managenius used. So I looked it up, and think I was right about a football context, but it has been used by a French management consultancy.

I also had a few ideas for new Folding Mirror poems, or parts of the same one:

double negative fm
can tell badness of others as side with dark side (written about in my bipolarity poetry)
interpret my behaviour from wrong basis

I started off with the idea of writing it this morning, in a state of complete coffilosophy, although the spirit of philosotea. It ended up being a little different, but with some similarities, leaving the door open for another poem or two from the ideas above.

The title was inspired by an article I read this week about chimps, and how they share our dark side, suggesting an evolutionary link. I loved chimps when I was young, mostly inspired by the PG Tips advert I think, so I’ve been disappointed to see they’ve got a dark side, but accept it. However, the good news of chimps’ similarity to humanity is that on this year’s series of Animals With Cameras a chimp was shown washing its hands, cleaning its teeth and thoughtfully weaving together a nest from leaves (clip available on website above – don’t know if available outside U.K.).

I laugh to myself because I think a lot about other things while zoning out to the television, even if the programme’s interesting; I think down to Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), but don’t know how far I am on the spectrum? I often have to rewind programmes having missed a few minutes, as I’ve written about before, and included in my poetry.

That’s one of the reasons why I consider it dangerous to be around one-dimensional people in the new ‘Big Brother’ age!

Advertised Childhood Chimpanzee, Evolutionary Family Tree

Gogglebox is a programme revolving around watching people watching television.

242 Mirror Poems and Reflections by [Latham, Marc]

Genius Examples at Philoso-tea/T Time

After careful academic diligent thought, I Dr. Marc Latham, in the style of Sherlock Holmes, have managed to create a paradigm shift in the age after coffilosophy. Through forensic creative writing, for you my dear readers, I have cut two letters out of the term taking its place. I know it is a quick and sudden change, with the new age just a couple of weeks old, but from now on philosophtea/T will be known as philosotea/T, saving you two letters ‘ph’ time.

To celebrate, I am actually drinking tea now… although I’ve had three mugs of coffee before!

Entertaining Educational Comedy

I thought the old term was just replacing the y with a t, and that it needed to be more different. Of course, Y is a special letter in the greenYgrey wor(l)d, so it’s a shame to replace it, but that just goes to show how different things have different meanings and significance in different wor(l)ds; as with colours or names in different human cultures or meanings.

So hopefully, from the above you will see that although greenYgreyology is mainly a concept and word I created for comedy purpose, it does have some educational value too, from a real doctor of philosophy; like comedy magicians or musicians who can really do what they use as a prop for their comedy.

Self-Proclaimed Genius Era Ending?

Another regular comedy phrase I’ve used is that I’m a genius, but not just any kind of genius, I’m a self-proclaimed genius. However, now I’m wondering if I can go on calling myself that, as there is so much evidence now; albeit indirectly.

As great greenYgreyliens will know, my work is full of connections, with the greenYgrey a connection, as my Folding Mirror poems connected two halves of poetry with a connecting middle line. My fantasy fiction connected the real world with my created stories.

So I wondered how genius am I? when I read this paragraph in Craig Brown’s review of James Harkin, Andrew Hunter Murray, Anna Ptaszynski and Dan Schreiber‘s The Book Of The Year: The Weirder Side Of 2017 :
‘The largest dinosaur footprints ever discovered were found in Western Australia,’ reads the entry under D for Dinosaur. ‘They were as long as Marc Bolan, the lead singer of T Rex.’ And it’s true: the footprints were 1.7 metres. It takes a kind of comic genius to think of linking these two things together.”

Death of Coffilosophy, Long Live Philosoph-tea/T

Buggles sang that Video Killed the Radio Star,
well, it looks like Kenco killed the coffilosopher,
I didn’t cry into my coffee when I saw their advert,
although seeing a Russell Brand lookalike hurt,
Thinking up a new age didn’t take me long round the bend,
coffilosophy was the beginning, philosophtea is the end.

Couple of quick poems for you inspired by Kenco’s cofficionado advert, after I’d suggested my coffilosophy five months earlier. I wrote the Folding Mirror poem below first, and then when I started writing an introduction Star and coffilosopher quickly rhymed, so I turned it into the poem above. They both have the same topic, and I think the two forms complement each other.

Coffee Has-Beans, Tea-Leaf Cleans

Kenco said : they were doing good
asked us to help, I said I would
already given them money
volunteered my coffilosophy

received no answer, five months later
