EMINEM NATURE WOE HUMAN SPACE RACE MOMENTUM: POETRY PHILOSOPHY 5 MORE

Guess who’s back, back again
Bezzy’s back, my bestie friend
Guess who’s back, guess who’s back,
Guess who’s back. Guess who’s back?
[(Eminem (Marshall Mathers = M+M)’s song, changing Shady for Bezzy (Jeff Bezos; billionaire publisher of my books; I don’t really know him, and it’s mainly parodying those who have relationships for career enhancement etc; although I am very grateful to him for publishing them), and ‘tell a’ for ‘my bestie’. I could be the new Eminem, the prequel, going back in the alphabet, using letterology: Eminel (M+L).]

These four are the famous coloured background formats I use on Facebook, with a maximum word limit I think helps me keep them concise, and is an excuse to keep them short!

POETRY PHILOSOPHY 5 MORE

Stellar nurseries not adversaries, nor spinning planets anniversaries;
separate s-tell-a-r to tell a hug demander with a s-h-r-ug

Down gravity – left gravitas:
end of May cold rain UK only goes one way;
political/social pressures every day, pummelling us away

Sunlit ethereal streamer ghosts; of sky gods?
Marginally mask montage mountain clouds;
hanging like hair; appear almost aurora

Who woke humanity?
‘Why?’, God asks?, ‘did I do it? Just look at my garden!
Should’ve kept humans like peaceful grounded plants!’

Fair weather worshippers love our star like factor fashion,
not noticing without UV,
winter days loved only by perennials like me!

Above were just fitted into Facebook for the kind of deadline I like!

I Thank Humanity, For Hot Air

I thank humanity for the hot air that provided the thermals for my Nietzschean Superman flight. I looked to the sun for reflection, but it is not a mirror. It just kept roaring and bellowing, with too much work to do controlling its system. I turned to leave, at least warmed by its workings; not that it seemed to increase its heat for me, it’s just the way it is. I thought I heard it whisper with a whoosh of solar wind, ‘Thank you for keeping your distance. Icarus did not die in vain. I am glad of that, for I liked him, but could not save him. For that is not my job.’

Mind On Sun, Warmth Without Reflection

flying high, as far as I can get
in my mind I imagine
it’s enlightenment or superman
farther than my sight
above the clouds and atmosphere
to space and solitude
rising on thermals
hot air of humanity

but I still know,  deep down I’m grounded

using knowledge of others
what governments allow
media chooses to show
limits of time and space
in future little trace
attempts at philosophical writing
lost between classic and future
but I have searched my time, and returned

Marc Latham’s latest Folding Mirror poem looks up and down as the light leaves the Earth with the sun, and describes the mirror effect that can emerge as city lights are turned on at the same time that stars start to sparkle in the sky.
Between City and Sky, Let Your Mind Fly
in nocturnal sky
stars shine eternally
in milky way zodiac signs
looking like a climbing frame
sunset on plateau ridge
city streets resemble landing strips
for ancient gods or aliens
never embering neon
on valley floor
