POST-PUNK POETRY PAROTTY PARODY BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

I don’t need anything to wake up for…
I just need nothing to sleep…

I used to think I worshipped you,
but now I know it was the ideal me…
because the vision’s become, sun shining through tree.

We should have statues for all the environmentalists killed in Africa, trying to save animals and world, such as the Adamsons (Born Free: Joy and George murdered nine years apart) and Dian Fossey (Gorillas in the Mist).Other statues for locals killed, like the many in the Amazon.

Prophet Mohammed of Islam fame should definitely be cancelled, as he had a 9-year-old in his harem!

It’s ironic that Princess Latifa (mid-30s age) and the other captive princesses are being ‘protected’ by their fathers, when the groomed girls in the UK were being enticed out of their homes, and away from parents who tried to keep their children indoors when they knew what was happening. That’s how Islam works, locking their females up, while grooming others to them, where they ruin their lives, chipping away at local communities, so they can’t have family lives. The Yazidi women raped by I.S. had to leave their I.S.-raped children behind, and they and their families and communities will have to live with it forever.

This is how I feel on the edge of the greenYgrey world, with the bulldozer of mass media humanity against me!

What makes animals automatically mate, fighting each other for a partner and position; sometimes to the death; not seeming to enjoy it, and endangering themselves while pregnant and caring for the young. Only humanity will miss most species; the animals will just miss a mate; probably wondering what life was all about… like many humans now!.

If there was no Earth there’d be no air, devoid of atmosphere. Our space would be void, only matter would matter, not eco disaster

Everything on Earth all in mind, space we know and hope to find, but the bigger picture is beyond mankind, possibilities signed…

Our lost Princess Latifah
looked oh so sweeter
taken by cancer forever
not locked away by father!

The great greenYgrey journey… I’ve often taken too… feeling a pull to England across the Severn… out of more distant travel/music_events necessity… my Jersey birthplace… or ancient memory?

Every Muslim ‘women’ feature should be framed/introduced with the fact that the Prophet Mohammed had a harem that included a 9-year-old: Ayeesha. The Princess Latifa story is the latest example of it not changing much since; following the I.S. treatment of women in the Middle-East, Taliban in Afghanistan, and ‘grooming gangs’ in the Western world.

Above posted on Facebook first.

witches season, poetic reason

It’s October 21st, which means there’s only one month until mistYmuse (Most Ideal Sunrise Time – Midwinter Until Spring Equinox; mYm acronym!) 20/21. This week is False Dawn Week, with sunrises getting to their latest before clocks go back an hour on Sunday in the UK; ending British Summer Time (BST).

MYMORY PRELIMINARY

There was a nice sunrise over Leeds on Monday, just north of the Town Hall on the horizon.

This morning I wrote this little poem. It started off spontaneously, then about half way down I thought its Earth’s north and south hemispheres subject matter made it ideal for a Folding Mirror Poem: the original inspiration for this blog site.

From Sun’s Face, Out Into Space

As planet’s north
points to space
no longer fronting
our star’s fiery face

we remember turn, circling as one

the heat will weaken
but light beacon
will remain alight
beyond winter night

Searching for my book again on Amazon and seeing its 2012 date made me think that some of the poems in there must have been written a decade ago now, and searching on this site’s October 2010 section took me back to that time; in this season of reminiscing.

One poem is about becoming middle-aged, for those who think I try to act too young! Others are more experimental, in a time I remember as very creatively exciting, with blogging and science converging to create lots of subject matter and a place to easily publish it.

Sky POETRY TRILOGY

Can sun see within, without clouds around:
optical illusion; our standpoint;
sailing around 1 star stability:
non-stop circularity

clear sky dawns, stardust spawns,
sunlight shoulder, sunrise colour,
sleep over, birds hover,
call other, another day, up in air..

Earth can’t escape humanity; our birth mother;
but sky fly forever; “infinity + beyond”;
too vast for our polluting destruction…

The above were three poems I posted on Facebook this week; fitted for colourful backgrounds; and fitting in with the greenYgrey world POP (PinkyOrangePurple) art ending, in more ways than one!

4×4 space raindrop tree philosophical thought

Sun is not just our light-giving fireplace.
Without it’s gravity,
Earth would hurtle alone:
a lifeless rock through space.

Believe what you want,
nobody knows for sure,
and the unknowable today,
will certainly be yesterday tomorrow…

Just a raindrop on Earth’s top,
where we land not sky’s plot,
supposed to help planet sort,
what is living from what is not.

I wish I knew all the trees;
by name not disease;
their branches, leaves, seeds;
and what they’re saying with ease in breeze.

First posted last night, and others just now; letter count fitted for colourful backgrounds; on Facebook.

New pop Art wordplay poetry

There’s warmth in life,
but C+7 Cosiness can become Cooling Calamity strife;
sun – forever free,
but ODing UV can be costly…

Humanity will always win..ter before spring;
because they are the con..cepts we bring;
not dissimilar to bird..song each morning..

PAGAN SELF-PORTRAIT POETRY

Reconnecting with my families
sunlight, rocks and trees
no barriers in-between
brain disk clean.

At one with tree canopy
eyes’ white light greenery
north’s solar open season
Earth’s axis tilt summer reason.

Poem from animal state of mind

Time stood still seeing the dawn Sun
wearing a flock of birds encrusted
crepuscular necklace
created by its own light and nature

I wrote the above poem before seeing those ‘magical’ moments when our minds transcend the mundanity of modern life in a Weird or What feature on that brain wavelength connecting us to animals.

Copied from Facebook:

Lot of info about dog and cat senses compared to humans in this story about whether they can sense illness etc.
A Salem witch also provides an alternative viewpoint of the zone/hypnagogic state I have enjoyed being in while exercising, writing, socialising etc but hadn’t heard before:
Laurie Cabot said our minds align with animals when we’re in that middle daydreaming state between sleep and thought where animals are most of the time.
William Shatner calls that state the alpha, with delta: sleep and beta: alert.

It’s also the place where I write the best of what I call coffilosophy here.

I originally saw it on the Blaze channel.

Last night, a few days after writing it, but probably long after they filmed it, I saw a Countryfile feature on diving with seals on the BBC describe exactly that: how time seems to stand still in those precious moments.

Weird or What!?

mental dragon, hidden talent

Blog post title wordplays Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon movie.

For those who made it thus far, here’s your bonus poem!… and more coffilosophy!:

11.35: The sun wakes up;
emerging from cloud covers.
It hasn’t got its hat on today
but seems ready to play.

I write as an insect keeps scurrying,
leaving a trail of letters:
provoking wrath as evidence of my path;
mortally wounded but driven on
by something built into it.
We can see it happening with our
human brains and eyes,
but don’t know what its thinking.
Maybe something can see
us the same way, running around
destroying our world, thinking we’re
of some use.
Maybe they think they know how to help
us, but don’t think they should intervene:
disrupting nature etc.
