sunset bird FLOCKS poem

Turned out to be a nice sunny afternoon and quite spectacular POP (PinkyOrangePurple) sunset, inspiring this poem:

Hori-sun Set-flocks Free-Jupiter

December sun
skirts horizon.
Are bird flocks
weighing it down?
Those that fly
its sunset sky.
From its landing
dipping direction.
V-shape swirls
slowly enlarging.
Coasting home
after day’s work?
Flying over
before twilight colours.
Prelude to night
Jupiter first light.

sunrise/sunset southern skies sun-lit tree serenity

#mym20. Tuesday morning sunrise, south-east sky

Friday Afternoon sunset in the south-west sky

sun lit tree… sunlitree… sultry
in a winter lea… wintrysolar earthly… Solarthly… so lovely
Inspired by a Stanningley (Hill) Sunset, which works pretty well with The Kinks’ Waterloo Sunset…

#mym20. After a similar scene before a nap (sun nap, sunap) earlier in the week morphed the two words (Stanningley/Sunlitree [itself blended together from sun lit tree]} together during it and inspired the words above I took a photo (sun nap, snap) of it yesterday.
