poetry pretty Facebook 5

Nice for no reason in any season, summer has it all, elevated to great heights before precipitous fall, recoiling winter to spring

Dead rain don’t kill, without rain won’t grow;
ground grows thirsty;
thirty my point of no return, at fifty learnt silence is fun!

Flooded brain can’t change, chained rain, washing life away, railroad track oblivion, horizon destination, no stops, sleeping lots

Feeling heavenly high notes,
see sunlight lighten dust motes,
memories of last year leaves photosynthesising raw connotes

We’ll never naturally fly, on wings of evolution,
but we can glide or drop, on constructed substitution,
bird’s eye view solution

The above Facebook 5 were written to keep poetry alive…
and for colourful backgrounds on Facebook!

kirkstallhenge delivers: sunrise in cloudless sky

A weather and forecast conjunction alignment provided a cloudless sky for the first Kirkstallhenge unveiling, as the last post in the mistYmuse 20/21 encores.

The sunrise was a bit more northern than I thought, rising behind the second building, but that provided a nice shot as our planet span around a bit more, positioning our view of the sun between the buildings.

You’ve been a great crowd, and I’m sure the ancestors would be proud.

sunrise pastel pop (pinkyorangepurple)

Low cloud on the horizon spoilt the central sunrise, but the sun did pop through the POP clouds a little afterwards. There’s always tomorrow… and the weather forecast’s good!

heart of nature enlightenment poetry

H-ear-t + Ear-th listen together for head’s hum of holiness, nectar harvested and hived, honeycomb su(a)ngels buzzing to be alive.

Enlightenment needs to shine,
not kept in dark for their ‘mine’;
shone like torch where directed,
healthy bacteria disinfected!

Heartbeats measure bodyclock time, running a straight line;
free of hourly circularity; but with a finite distance, each existence

sunrise NEARLY HIDES, but smiles

The ‘sunrise’ did make it just between the two buildings this morning, but should be more in the middle on Sunday and Monday, when it moves a degree from 71 to 70 ° ENE. it stays on 71 tomorrow.

With the sunrise scheduled for 6.03 (it would be 5.03 without BST), I thought it was rising behind the building it just got inside, as it was 6.15 when it appeared, and it had been lighting up the city centre buildings for a few minutes… reminding me of the now long ago mistYmuse mornings!

Three days ago it was at 73 ° ENE.

Nine days ago it was at 77 ° ENE.

sunrise 6 days movement

This morning’s sunrise (really: our first sight of it) shows it’s nearly reached the first of two buildings. It should be in the middle of them in about three days, judging from how its moved from the two trees six days ago:

If there is an alignment of weather and awakening I hope to witness it, and bring you some photos…

autumn years spring poetry

Deep mind diving, navigating by sun,
shapes obscuring star, shallows cloud surface,
time transparent space, regain knowledge place.

Lights brighten dark wilderness nights, fires heat cold sunless days…
but Earth’s still better off without our trashy ways!

rewarder, re-war/ord-er, reorder
We do things for reward, either pleasure or ambition.
If we’re getting either or both, we keep doing them.
Then, at a time perhaps unnoticed, it becomes natural.

sunrise photos: mistymuse encore

I wasn’t expecting to see the sunrise this morning, but hadn’t remembered until seeing the sun that British Summer Time (BST) had started eleven days ago, requiring we turned time on an hour, meaning the sunrise also went on an hour, from 5.51 on the 27th to 6.48 (would’ve been 5.48, as first sight of the sun is about 2/3 minutes earlier per day) on the 28th.

Eleven days later, the ‘sunrise’ today was at 6.24. The ash tree (Yggdrasil) is now budding, and very popular with the birds!

Sun’s Journey Over A Month (Really it’s our orbital journey and changing view)

The ‘sunrise’ continues up the horizon though. Although it seems to be departing for me, earlier and nearly out of sight, for the northern hemisphere as a whole it is in fact more visible; earlier and for longer.

Comparing it to this photo from March 6th (last year, but it’s roughly the same every year) shows how much farther up the horizon it ‘rises’ over a month. This morning it rose between the two trees under ‘Yggdrasil’, where the arrow points.

new deep mind small poems

Here’s five small poems I posted on Facebook. The first two followed on from last week’s Mazzy Star musing; the third was mused by Annicke Shireen’s Release You song/video, and the last two today were just because I was posting this, and had just had a nap; so thought I may be able to dive down into my mind and stay down long enough to fill up a Facebook word limit for a colourful background!

Last week

Sinking so deep into sky, birds imagine I fly by,
showing me thermals, where a mind can rise,
tipping a wing, future will bring…

Wake up to wind down, slumberous sea,
floating flotsam, jetstreaming jetsam,
diving deep as can be,
seeking poetic pearls of wisdom..

All that die↓, Earth body returned;
All that fly↑, Sky spirit freed;
All that why?, Mind used as should be.

Today

Only dare dive deep, with head full of sleep,
coral’s bleaching, still reaching,
for those that fit; or have wit; reversing it ←

Traverse to surface, sunshine reimburses serotonin, half-baked drying thoughts on rocks;
seagulls steal shiniest, leaving least!
